Origami Mosquitoes fly free to promote Malaria awareness

Posted by mark on February 19, 2019 11:20 am / 0 Comments

Prof Jon Cooper and Julien Rebound have developed a folded-paper based Malaria diagnostic test and came to me to create some images and projects to help with the outreach. First off an Origami Mosquito model, that could be used for editorial support if the work was discussed, secondly a fold your own mosquito project to create an interactive way to highlight their work.

Last week I met with Jon at Imperial College and learned more of his work. He is off to Uganda this week to put some of their work into practise. It has been a real privilege to help support this.
