Origami Printable

Hewlett Packard Origami Printables (2014 to 2016).

Between 2014 and 2016 Creaselightning provided a weekly origami instruction to HP Printer users. In that time, we developed more than 150 two-page instruction sheets. Each featured a page of step by step instructions and a printable patterned sheet with fold lines. The project developed various ways to explain the folding process. It was aimed at both beginners and experts .

Origami Home (2013).

Working with the publisher Jacqui Small we produced a beautiful book of Origami furniture designs. The book features rooms sets presented in complimentary colours and Patterns.

Origami Commission: Ubuntu Unicorn (2015).

Commissioned by Ubuntu as an origami expert to design an Origami Unicorn. The design was subsequently used to support the U release. Issues with supporting instructions.

Origami Commission: Lidl Wrapping Up Christmas (2013).

The 2013 Lidl TV campaign featured Christmas Dinner beautifully wrapped with a variety of folded projects. Origami design even reached the price of products as the numbers exploded from crackers . The folded bird symbolise the group and it is made from all of the colours used in the individual models. Lidl TV Add:

Origami Commission: Telegraph Magazine: Wallpaper (2012).

Origami furniture made from contemporary wallpaper designs for the telegraph newspaper. The Commission featured origami scenes of furniture in room settings. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/active/9528631/Wallpaper-Trends-Autumn-2012.html

Origami for Money Supermarket/ Britains Got Talent (2011).

An origami Expert makes a stage and judging panel out of money. The project sought to create an image that combined “Britains Got Talent” with “Money Supermarket”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXFJA32L0lw


Origami Event support: Green Awards (2006-2011).

The Green Awards have used origami to replace flowers at their annual award ceremony. Locations have included The Natural History Museum (London) and Batersea Power Station (London) At the end of the event it is great to see guests take the models home with the origami animals tucked under their arms. http://www.greenawards.com/


Origami Installation / Event support: Canon Imagination (2010).

London based Imagination commissioned origami installations for the Canon stand at Photokina (Cologne) 2010. Some of the origami was later used at Canon Expo (Paris). Origami Films for Bunch Designs / American Express (2009).

The project required folding shopping receipts into origami objects for the American Express rewards scheme. The folding process was turned into stop motion origami films:

Origami Commission: Grazia magazine (2007).

Developed origami models for the set of a television advertisement for Grazia magazine with Partizan (London). The films featured an origami dress and an origami shoe that would unfold to reveal the cover of the latest issue of Grazia magazine.
