Buildings and Structures
The Building and Structures gallery features Origami structures made for commissions. These range from images for book covers, such as the ruined temple. In addition there are some London buildings. The idea came out of an advertising pitch, where buildings of London were made from folded paper and dropped into actual photos of London. This idea evolved into the book Origami London.
A further collection of international buildings were designed for a gift set produced by NPW. The model instruction book was accompanied by patterned papers in the texture of buildings. These buildings include; the eifel tower, tate modern, the empire state building, a pyramid, the shard and some Eastern temples.
